Michael Carter-Williams hit just 1-of-8 shots in Thursday’s loss to the Knicks, finishing with three points to go with four boards, two assists and one steal in 16 minutes.
Carter-Williams has been pretty bad since arriving on the scene as a speculative add and his total lack of money counting stats is pretty nuts. He’s averaging just 0.3 treys (predictable) over the last four games but the 0.3 combined steals and blocks is a sign he’s not right. It’s a very small sample size and owners that grabbed him should probably see this through the weekend, but after that he’s a much easier call to cut in 8-cat leagues if he’s not getting it done. In 9-cat leagues that decision will be easier.
