• Mike Muscala scored 14 points on 6-of-7 shooting (including two threes) with five rebounds, four assists and one steal in 22 minutes off the bench on Tuesday against the Heat.

Muscala did this against a shallow Heat squad but it’s instructive to those wondering if he has any fantasy value.  He’s currently sitting in a top 60-90 position in just 20 mpg but he’s not going to continue shooting 65 percent for very long.  He needs to get up to 25 mpg to have any standard league appeal, but you’re seeing why he’s a past alumnus of the Bruski 150.

Fantasy News

  • Marcus Morris
    PF, New York Knicks

Marcus Morris (ankle) will be available to play against the Lakers on Wednesday.

Morris is likely to get the unenviable assignment of guarding LeBron James at less than full strength. Morris has put up top-80 value on the year. Play him as you normally would.

  • Michael Porter Jr.
    PF, Denver Nuggets

Michael Porter Jr. (back tightness) is being ruled out ahead of Wednesday's game against the Rockets.

Gary Harris is still questionable for this one, but not likely to play according to reports. Malik Beasley is in line for a significant role and is a name to think about adding if the injuries to Porter and Harris linger.

  • Hassan Whiteside
    C, Portland Trail Blazers

Hassan Whiteside (groin contusion) is being listed as probable to play on Thursday against the Mavs.

There doesn't seem to be anything here. Continue to fire up the big man in all leagues as he has simply been a beast in fantasy this season.

  • CJ McCollum
    SG, Portland Trail Blazers

C.J. McCollum (left ankle sprain) is being listed as questionable ahead of Thursday's matchup with the Cavs.

McCollum has missed the past two games but was seen getting in some work after Tuesday's practice. His status is genuinely up in the air at this point. Continue to monitor the situation and fire him up on a three-game slate if he is ready to go. Anfernee Simons would again benefit if McCollum can't go.

  • Brandon Knight
    PG, Cleveland Cavaliers

Brandon Knight (left knee soreness) is being ruled out ahead of Wednesday's game against the Wizards.

Knight was playing a bit more before getting injured but is only a bit part of the Cavs rotation when the team is healthy. He can be ignored in fantasy circles.

  • John Henson
    PF, Cleveland Cavaliers

John Henson (lower back soreness) is being listed as probable for Thursday's game against the Wizards.

Henson is a deep-reserve as long as the frontcourt is mostly healthy. He is a blocks specialist only in deeper-leagues.

  • Jordan Bone
    PG, Detroit Pistons

Jordan Bone is being listed as available to play against the Kings on Wednesday.

Bone does not hold any fantasy value.

  • Kent Bazemore
    SG, Sacramento Kings

Kent Bazemore and Anthony Tolliver are available to play for the Kings in Wednesday's game against the Pistons.

The trade that sent Bazemore and Tolliver to Sacramento has been finalized, and both are ready to go for their new team. Neither has much fantasy value in their new situations.

  • Andre Drummond
    C, Detroit Pistons

Andre Drummond (lip laceration) is being ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Kings.

With Drummond sitting this one out, owners get an early look at the value Christian Wood can provide should Drummond be dealt before the trade deadline. In addition to Wood, Thon Maker, Sekou Doumbouya and Markieff Morris will see extra minutes.

  • Michael Porter Jr.
    PF, Denver Nuggets

Michael Porter Jr. (back tightness) is being listed as questionable to play against the Rockets on Wednesday.

Porter joins Gary Harris as questionable for this one, while Jamal Murray is going to miss weeks. Malik Beasley would be in line for ample playing time if both Harris and Porter can't go tonight and would be worth a look in DFS formats as a microwave scorer.
