Monta Ellis had another strong outing on Tuesday, finishing with 19 points, four boards, five assists, two steals and one block in 34 minutes.
That makes three strong games in a row for the once irrelevant Monta Ellis. He started the second half on Friday and hasn’t looked back, averaging 15.3 points, 4.0 boards, 2.7 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.3 triples on 61.3 percent from the field (10.3 attempts) over his last three games. He’s looking like a strong add in the late-going. Nate McMillan is going with Ellis and shouldn’t hesitate as he’s been able to share the backcourt with Jeff Teague (20 points, 10 assists) over his recent resurgence.
