Kelly Olynyk scored 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting with two treys, but only added three boards and zero defensive stats in 22 minutes off the bench on Saturday against the Suns.
This was a weird game in which the depleted Suns kept things close and that’s your first sign that something wasn’t right for the Celtics, who probably took them less seriously than they should have. Amir Johnson scored two points with six rebounds, one steal and one block, so it wasn’t a total loss, but altogether when you factor in Jared Sullinger’s four points, five boards, three steals and five turnovers nobody will be writing home about this one. The Celtics embark on their four-game week and all three guys will probably keep it within the top-150, and each of them will have top-100 upside in realistic scenarios.
