Ryan Anderson logged just 19 minutes on Monday with zero points, two rebounds, four assists and a steal on just two field goal attempts while P.J. Tucker posted four points, nine rebounds, one assist and one block in 34 minutes.
Anderson has now played 19 and 23 minutes over his last two, going a combined 0-for-6 from the field. He’s not a strong fantasy play these days, and even when he’s playing well Anderson really only helps you in one or two categories. He’s not someone that owners should cling too tightly to in standard formats. Tucker is a vital part of Houston’s most interesting lineup combinations and it’s not at all surprising to see him getting more minutes lately. He’s a defensive stopper that can post top-150 numbers in the proper minutes, so give him a look if you’re in the market for rebounds, steals and threes.
