Richard Jefferson scored 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting (including three treys) with four rebounds and one steal in 29 minutes off the bench in the Cavs’ blowout loss on Saturday.
Kevin Love? He played just 16 minutes (seven points, one trey) and yes he had some early foul trouble but something stinks and it’s all surely going to come out eventually. As for now, you’re not doing anything crazy with Love and he’s still a must-start player. The Cavs will probably go out of their way to get him a few big nights and they have four games in each of the next two weeks. J.R. Smith also fell flat with two points and one steal in 19 minutes and Channing Frye joined them with three points (a trey) and four boards in 16 minutes. Owners probably throw this game in the circular file and move on.
