Shabazz Napier scored 21 points on 8-of-15 from the floor and 4-of-4 from the line and added eight boards, six dimes, a steal and two blocks but the Blazers still fell to the Hawks 89-104 on Saturday.
Napier got another game starting in place of the injured Damian Lillard and responded with a nice all-around effort. He actually led the team in scoring and has put up 20 or more in three straight games. Lillard could be back as soon as next game, which would push Napier back to the bench. That said, he could maintain a decent amount of value as the go-to guy with the reserves since Portland doesn’t really have any other options.
