Shelvin Mack scored a career-high 27 points on 11-of-17 shooting (including three treys) with three rebounds and four assists in Friday’s win over the Wizards.
Mack started off strong in his Jazz debut and then he sank like a rock, but has somehow managed to look more valuable than he has really been even since he started to stabilize a bit. In an 8-cat league he has flirted with some late-round value throughout his time in Utah, but his 9-cat value is well off the fantasy radar. If you need a point guard, you’ll probably need to be punting in one or more deficient categories to truly make a pickup work.
