Hollis Thompson scored 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting (including three treys) with one rebound, two assists and one block in the Sixers’ 120-105 loss to the Celtics on Sunday.
Thompson will oscillate between this and something much worse on a nightly basis and that’s before we talk about Robert Covington’s (concussion) return. All of the Sixers’ low-end assets are in trouble and yes one of them will probably get hot and cross the top-125 threshold in 12-team leagues, but good luck guessing which one.
Isaiah Canaan started his slowdown early with eight points on 3-of-10 shooting, three rebounds, four assists, one steal and one three, and Ish Smith had a patented 5-of-14 makes for 14 points, three boards and eight assists with no money counting stats. Jerami Grant did Jerami Grant things with 11 points, eight rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a three, but hit just 3-of-12 shots from the field. With four games this week Grant and Smith are the only two that owners can start with relative confidence.
