Stanley Johnson scored 10 points on 3-of-6 shooting (including a three) with seven rebounds, a career-high six assists and a career-high four steals in 31 minutes off the bench on Saturday against the Nets.
Johnson was great today but a number of teammates also had outlier lines and we simply can’t recommend an add. Marcus Morris just had a huge game against the Kangz and he’ll go back to dominating the minutes without Johnson continuously applying pressure. In the meantime, he simply won’t have enough value for owners in 12-14 team formats. Morris’ owners should be very concerned though because as we’ve discussed many times, he needs big minutes to hang onto his late-round value. In the upcoming four-game week, he still has a decent shot of returning top-125 value. If that’s helpful, keep him around.
