Brandon Ingram scored 22 points on 9-of-13 shooting (including two threes) with five rebounds, four assists and one steal in Friday’s Summer League loss to the Jazz.
Ingram’s slow start was foreseeable as he has a ways to go before he grows into his body and NBA level defenders will be able to push him off his spots and get at his dribble. He still has tremendous skill and he’ll be poised for a major leap once he gets stronger. Expecting big things from him this year is over-optimistic, but he’s definitely somebody to target in Dynasty formats and deep redraft leagues.
