Brandon Ingram scored seven points on 3-of-12 shooting (0-for-3 3PTs, 1-of-2 FTs) with four rebounds, one assist and three turnovers in 28 minutes of action in Saturday’s win over Ben Simmons and the Sixers.
In a game that saw all sorts of stats flying around the box score, Ingram was quiet both on the stat sheet and on the court. We’d even go as far as to say he played tight. He is the epitome of NBA baby deer and it may take a few years for him to fill out, and in the meantime he’s going to have the same struggles that Kevin Durant has shown trying to get the ball because of that thin frame and higher dribble. Still, when he fills out and figures out how to play the game, he has as much potential as anybody in his draft class including Simmons.
