The Clippers selected PF/C Cheick Diallo with the No. 33 pick and sent it to New Orleans and in return they get the No. 39 and 40 picks.
Diallo looked great at the NBA Draft Combine and though he played just 7.5 mpg in 27 contests this year for Kansas, he looks like a great energy guy at the NBA level. Blessed with incredible athleticism and a high motor, he averaged a combined 1.2 blocks and steals per game in those limited minutes. He might not be able to stay on the floor during his rookie season and a guy named Anthony Davis plays there, but the Pelicans are so shallow that he’ll be worth watching as the season goes on. In a deep Dynasty league he might even be worth a flier depending on how deep your format is.
