Damian Lillard had a tough shooting night in 39 minutes on Monday, going 7-for-21 from the field on his way to 25 points, four boards, six assists, two steals and three triples in a 109-110 loss to the Wolves.
Dame had an opportunity to break the Wolves’ hearts with a late jumper, but missed it and also missed an opportunity for the Blazers chance to put some more space between them and the Nuggets. The Blazers are clinging to the last spot in the Western Conference, so Lillard should continue to see heavy run until they officially lock it up. On the bright side, he had a mostly positive line as he didn’t turn over the ball in this one. C.J. McCollum wasn’t much better, going 5-for-14 from the field, finishing with 17 points, five boards, four assists, one steal and one block.
