Darrell Arthur opted out of his $2.9 million player option for next season.
Arthur was a solid vet for Michael Malone last season and he had nice low-end fantasy value at times for the savvy owner. The Nuggets have an increasingly crowded frontcourt and he probably wants to get a better playing time situation. He’ll also have an outside chance at a double-figure contract when the funny money starts getting spent this summer.
