Denzel Valentine scored eight points on 4-of-16 shooting (0-for-9 3PTs) with six rebounds, one assist, two steals and four turnovers in 24 minutes of action on Saturday against the Celtics.
Valentine’s efficiency wasn’t a problem in college as he had a stellar 46.2/44.4/85.3 shooting line on big volume. There have been, however, questions about how some of his offense will translate to the NBA level. The bigger issue for his fantasy stock is the arrival of Rajon Rondo and Dwyane Wade, as Valentine will have a hard time getting his hands on the ball. Despite the injury risk to his knees, he’s well worth a look in any Dynasty league for his prior production everywhere but in the defensive stat categories.
