Devin Booker scored 24 points on 7-of-17 shooting (3-of-5 3PTs, 7-of-8 FTs) with two rebounds, seven assists and one block in Sunday’s Summer League win over the Celtics.
Booker has grown an inch and he just looks bigger and better — and the scary thing is that it definitely looks like it translates to the NBA level. He’s just toying with guys out there, though he and R.J. Hunter had a nice exchange of trash talk and spirited play. Booker is basically just playing in these games to stay in shape, and if he could somehow lose a guard in Eric Bledsoe or Brandon Knight he’d be on to something. His fantasy stat set doesn’t support tremendous value unless he’s truly let loose.
