Draymond Green returned from his Game 5 suspension in Thursday’s Game 6 loss, as he scored eight points on 3-of-7 shooting with 10 rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block and five fouls in 41 minutes.
Yes, without Green things could have been a lot worse for the Warriors but he missed his target on a lot of passes, pressed offense into bad spots, and made multiple silly plays on defense. Whether that’s rust or the same simple lack of discipline his entire team has shown throughout the playoffs is up for debate. He even got way too vocal with the refs at the end of the game and if he wants to be the emotional leader of this squad the Alanis Morissette version of irony would suggest he needs to keep those emotions in check.
