Dwight Howard had a team-high 19 points (7-for-9 from the field, 5-of-7 from the line), 12 boards, one assist and one block in a big 103-73 win over the Hornets on Tuesday.
It was a big win for the Hawks as they locked in the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. They led early and never looked back as they faced off against a Kemba-less Hornets squad. With the win, Milwaukee has nothing to play for on Wednesday in a game that matters for Boston’s (first in the East) seeding. There are still a few playoff spots that need sorting for Wednesday night, so stay tuned. Atlanta will square off against the Wizards in the first-round.
