Dwight Howard and the Hawks have reached agreement on a three-year, $70.5 million deal.
We’ll see the details come out and this all but assures us that Al Horford is heading out of Atlanta. We were about $20 million short and we also had Year 3 as a team option so we’ll have to see how bad the Hawks got worked over here. With injury risks, a declining game and a history of not having the intangibles, it looks like the Hawks blinked at the prospect of losing Horford without another big name center.
