The Mavs will sign restricted free agent Harrison Barnes to a max, four-year offer sheet on July 7.
Here we go. One of the most controversial free agents of the summer is now going to put the Warriors to the test. If they can’t get Kevin Durant, then they’ll have to decide if they like anybody else that’s out there on the market over Barnes, who will get about $21 million over four years by our projections. Game on. We ranked him No. 10 out of available power forwards in terms of projected cost to value.
If KD says no to GSW, I would expect Warriors to match any Harrison Barnes offer sheet. No sign-and-trade possibilities w/ DAL either.
