Rookie center Georgios Papagiannis missed all seven of his field goal attempts and finished with one point, six boards, five fouls and three turnovers in Monday’s Summer League loss to the Pelicans.
Papagiannis, assuming his knee and/or hamstring aren’t bothering him too bad, is showing that he has a ways to go before he’s in an NBA rotation. Yes, it’s very early and big men take longer to develop than any other position, but he’s going to have to really work on his agility as well as sharpening up on the offensive end if he’s going to justify his No. 13 overall selection.
