Jordan Hill agreed to a two-year, $8 million deal with the Wolves on Wednesday.
Hill may have played his way out of the rotation for the most part in Indy but there were a couple of good reasons for that other than his own middling play. Myles Turner and Ian Mahinmi were on the rise, and the Pacers already have a headache mixing those two bigs into the rotation. He heads to Minnesota where Karl-Anthony Towns, Gorgui Dieng and Cole Aldrich await, so his personal fantasy value is nil, but one does have to wonder if he might cut into Gorgui Dieng’s time a little bit. We’re not saying it’s going to happen, but we’ll be watching out for that.
