Jrue Holiday (left elbow tricep strain) returned from a seven-game absence on Monday and came in hot, making a career-high seven 3-pointers en route to his 36 point on 12-of-18 shooting.
Holiday was unstoppable in his 32 minutes on the floor tonight, adding six rebounds, one assist, two steals and one block to the box score. The heavy minutes and stellar performance are strong indicators that his injury is in the rearview. His return slowed down Lonzo Ball, who quietly put up eight points, nine rebounds, five assists, two steals and two threes. Expect Ball to fade a bit with Holiday now back, but both guards should jell once again like they were doing before Holiday was sidelined.
