Justin Anderson hit 7-of-17 shots for 19 points (3-of-6 from deep) with six rebounds and four turnovers in 31 minutes in Saturday’s Summer League win over the Heat.
Anderson is one of our favorite young players in the league as he’s going to be a defensive beast and he profiles as a player that can matchup well against the Kevin Durants of the world. He can also shoot the three and though his stat set has been fantasy deficient, he reminds us of another Mavs forward that went on to be a beast in Jae Crowder. Given the acquisition of Harrison Barnes, Anderson will probably still fly under the radar but we’re fine with a late-round flier pick in standard formats. Dynasty owners should be in aggressive pursuit.
