Kevin Love scored 11 points on 3-of-6 shooting (1-of-2 3PTs, 4-of-6 FTs) with five rebounds and one block in 25 minutes off the bench as he returned from his concussion on Friday in the Cavs’ Game 4 loss.
Love played well enough and wasn’t a factor either positively or negatively in this game. Though Tyronn Lue deserves credit for correctly bringing him off the bench, the fact he played Tristan Thompson (10 points, seven boards, one block, 0-for-5 FTs, 29 minutes), Channing Frye (one rebound) and Love a total of 64 minutes is a bit of a failure. The Cavs need to try and create spacing with LeBron James at center and not by putting lead-footed Frye on the floor or by playing two bigs at a time.
