The Kings selected Kentucky seven-footer Skal Labissiere with the No. 28 pick (via the Suns).
Labissiere has good athleticism and should be able to fill out into his slender build eventually, and he brings some good footwork and decent outside touch to the equation. What has caused him to drop is his lack of feel for the game and a lack of perceived toughness to go with being a bit thin to bang with NBA centers. He doesn’t rebound very well either. The fact that he was projected as a lottery pick by many early in draft season makes him a nice grab for the Kings at No. 28, but he’s going to have a hard time carving out minutes and fantasy owners can watch this action from afar.
