Klay Thompson scored 41 points with an NBA playoff record 11 triples in Saturday’s Game 6 win over the Thunder.
This is a Klay series. Russell Westbrook has to cover Steph Curry and Andre Roberson can’t cover Klay. And whenever the Warriors start running good sets Klay is going to get crazy like this. Curry shook off a shaky first half and finished with 29 points on 8-of-21 shooting, six treys, 7-of-9 FTs, 10 boards, nine assists and two steals, and Draymond Green scored 14 points with 12 boards, six assists, three steals and one block.
The Warriors continue to run their regular season offense despite the fact the Thunder are giving them whatever matchup they want as they switch the pick-and-roll. Like OKC, they have the playmakers to push through that systemic problem, but they’ll need to clean it up in Game 7 because the Thunder can win this series if they get even remotely efficient with what they do.
