Unrestricted free agent Courtney Lee agreed to a four-year, $50 million deal with the Knicks.
Lee was the No. 6 ranked shooting guard on our projected price to value ranks, and we had him at $15 million per year over four years so this is a nice bargain, too. He’ll bring credibility to the defense and assuming they all stay healthy the Knicks’ starting five will be Derrick Rose, Lee, Carmelo Anthony, Kristaps Porzingis and Joakim Noah — which isn’t exactly chopped liver. And no, we’re not ready to slot them into the playoffs just yet either.
