Kyrie Irving scored 38 points on 16-of-29 shooting (0-for-7 3PTs) with six rebounds and three assists as the Cavs fell into a 3-0 hole on Wednesday after their loss to the Warriors.
Irving was the best offensive player on the floor in this one but for as good as he was there were several lapses to stain the outing. And the fact that the Cavs have repeatedly run terrible stuff on offense isn’t to be forgotten, either. Yes, he can go shot for shot with the Warriors but unfortunately that sort of mindset doesn’t work out when there’s one or two of you and four of them.
