Damian Lillard scored 25 points on 8-of-20 shooting (including six threes) with four rebounds, six assists and two steals in Tuesday’s Game 2 loss against the Warriors.
Lillard was electric until the fourth quarter when the Warriors forced other players to beat them. C.J. McCollum was right there with him pushing the Warriors to the brink and finished with 22 points on 9-of-19 shooting, two boards, two assists, one steal and one block. Mason Plumlee (six points, 11 boards, four assists, one block, six turnovers) got yanked in the fourth quarter after playing a pretty good game, but Draymond Green and Co. pretty much forced Terry Stotts to take him off the floor.
Al-Farouq Aminu (14 points, three treys, six boards, one block) and Moe Harkless (11 points, seven rebounds) were active and Harkless bothered Klay Thompson into a very slow start. Gerald Henderson got his name called with 12 points, two treys, two boards, three assists and a steal in 27 minutes off the bench.
