James Michael McAdoo was reportedly set to start in Friday’s Game 5 against the Cavs for suspended starter Draymond Green (balls), but that report went by the wayside shortly after it was published.
McAdoo is raw but athletic and if the Cavs go big with Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson he could conceivably threaten the 20-minute mark. He could also be a placeholder starter and see closer to 10 minutes, with Andre Iguodala and Harrison Barnes both being prime big-game candidates tonight with Cleveland ready to bear down on Steph and Klay.
Update: Iguodala and Barnes are starting and McAdoo fans will have to wait and see if he gets on to the floor.
