Paul George scored 26 points on 8-of-18 shooting (4-of-7 3PTs, 6-of-6 FTs) with 12 boards, three steals and seven turnovers in Sunday’s Game 7 loss to the Raptors.
George’s teammates combined for just two free throw attempts. Two. George Hill scored 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting with three treys and just two assists. Monta Ellis scored 15 points with four rebounds and seven assists, and Myles Turner was quiet with four points on 2-of-11 shooting, six boards and four blocks. The Pacers will enter the offseason with questions about Frank Vogel’s status and on the court they need see another jump from George on his penetration game, because all that usage needs to find its way into the teeth of the defense.
