David Aldridge of NBA.com reported on Sunday that the Pacers are looking for two first round draft picks and a starter in deals for Paul George.
Of course they are and they aren’t going to get it unless it’s the Cavs or the Lakers, and even then the Lakers can just wait for free agency. We’ve mentioned it in a few places around here, but Cleveland is the location that makes sense and trading Kevin Love to get it done would also make sense. The Cavs would then have to gamble on whether or not the addition of George (and giving up some picks) would help them win a title and theoretically keep LeBron James in town. This has been a great week for big time NBA news.
Pacers asking teams for ideas on potential PG trades, per sources, as they have for a while. Ideally: 2 firsts+starter. Teams obv skittish.
