Paul George had a rough Wednesday night with 14 points (4-of-17 FG, 2-of-10 3PT), 10 rebounds, two assists and a block.
The infamous Playoff P seemed to be making an appearance in the first half of Wednesday’s game, as George entered the third quarter with more fouls than points. He managed to salvage his line by racking up a double-double by the end of the game. Much of the skepticism toward the Clippers’ title chances has been around George’s ability to perform in the playoffs, so this performance won’t put that to bed. But the star forward has been excellent outside of tonight and has put up first-round value since the NBA returned.
