The Pelicans' rookies continued their impressive preseasons in Sunday's road win over the Spurs, with Zion Williamson leading the way in a 22-point, 10-rebound effort.
Williamson went 8-for-11 from the field and 6-of-8 from the line while adding two steals in 31 minutes. He's done a lot to justify the massive hype around him and he's likely going to cost you a second or third-round pick in most fantasy leagues. Fellow rookie Nickeil Alexander-Walker had another strong game with 13 points, five rebounds, seven assists, a steal, a block and two triples, but we'd take that with a grain of salt since J.J. Redick was resting. NAW is more of a dart throw in deep leagues and a fun dynasty target this season. Nicolo Melli, in line for stretch four work, chipped in 14 points, nine rebounds, a steal, two blocks and three 3-pointers off the bench. The Pelicans should be tons of fun this season.
