Bismack Biyombo and the Magic have agreed to a four-year deal according to Jon Krawczynski of the AP.
It sure seems like Nikola Vucevic has to go now and that’s probably wise for the Magic because his trade value isn’t going to get too much better, even when we adjust for his old contract vs. the new reality of NBA dollars. Vooch’s defense is getting steadily worse and he had a knee issue last season that didn’t seem great. That specific injury aside, he’s trending quickly toward major defensive liability and teams will soon see that. Still, the trio of these two and Ibaka has a weird chance of working.
Specifically, the pairing of Biyombo and Serge Ibaka is going to be fun to watch and with the way Ibaka shoots it’s actually doable. The Magic have been one of the nuttier teams of this offseason and we’re all for them being fun so on with the deals.

With the agreement with Biyombo, the Magic envision a 3-man big man rotation of Vucevic, Biyombo and Ibaka.

Four-year, $72M on Bismack Biyombo's Magic agreement @APkrawczynski reported on. Masai Ujiri loved Biz, but didn't value him that way.
