Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Bucks have traded Tyler Ennis to the Rockets in exchange for Michael Beasley.
It’s a curious move because Michael Carter-Williams and Greg Monroe have been in the rumor mill seemingly forever and Beasley hardly addresses their need at the position. At the same time, by dealing Ennis they now can’t really trade MCW unless there is another shoe to drop, because Matthew Dellavedova as a full-time starter would be an optimistic move on their part. It’s possible they don’t like the deals they’re seeing, or that they intend to create the impression of leverage at the small forward position while also pursuing another deal. Regardless, Beasley has no real fantasy value in Milwaukee in standard leagues and Ennis needs to show us something before we pencil him in for any real value, himself.
