Dallas Mavericks plan to proceed with a max offer sheet for restricted free agent Harrison Barnes according to ESPN’s Marc Stein and Tim MacMahon.
Well that didn’t take long after Kevin Durant officially stating that he will be taking his talents to the Golden State Warriors. Looks like Dallas will finally nab someone after failing to do so up to this point. Per Stein, the offer will be a four-year, $94 million deal that the Warriors of course will not match, who would? Barnes fantasy value should grow larger as he will become one of the top options on the Mavericks. His inconsistency makes him a risky target for the Mavericks and fantasy owners.
The Mavericks, of course, will proceed with their planned $94 million offer sheet to Warriors restricted free agent Harrison Barnes July 7
