The Nuggets could be looking at upwards of $20 million per season on the extension for Gary Harris, per a report from Zach Lowe (via Harrison Wind of BSN Denver).
Harris is a vital part of Denver’s core and would be easily worth that money. The team might have to include him in any package that would net them Kevin Love, but either way he’ll be rewarded handsomely. President of Basketball Ops Tim Connelly said that Harris remains a priority for the Nuggets and that he’ll remain with the team for a long time whether they work something out sooner or later. Any potential extension would change Denver’s cap situation, so they might wait until they see what happens in free agency. They’re expected to pursue Kyle Lowry, Paul Millsap and Jrue Holiday, among others.
