ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne is reporting that Lonzo Ball will consider working out for teams who pick after the Lakers at No. 2 in next Thursday’s draft.
Ball is having his second and presumably final workout with the Lakers today and will look to separate himself from the field. He reportedly looked out of shape in his first crack and rumors are circulating that L.A. is growing less interested in him as time passes. As such, it makes sense for Ball to start putting some work in for other organizations in case the Lakers go off the board. It feels like we’ve come a long way from him only playing for the Lakers. He’s unlikely to be facing a major slide (or any slide at all), as teams would surely snap him up if he falls past the second pick.
