The Pistons have offered center Joel Anthony and a protected top-8 2016 first-round pick for injured Rockets power forward Donatas Motiejunas, and later Adrian Wojnarowski would report that trade has indeed been agreed upon with the addition of Marcus Thornton.

This is an upside play by Stan Van Gundy and there are very real questions about Motie’s health, so we’re not going to get too concerned about the impact to Tobias Harris this season.  Thornton gives the Pistons some much needed depth with Jodie Meeks (back) flaming out this season, but he is not somebody to grab in any normal sized fantasy leagues.
