The AP reported on Friday that the Sixers and Jerryd Bayless agreed to terms on a three-year, $27 million deal.
Bayless was ranked in the top 10-20 range of available point guards and that grouping was so large because there is no real discernible difference between them. As such, there were better targets available like Ish Smith and D.J. Augustin that would have been better but they were swooped up by the smart teams. Bayless’ health is always an issue but he can possibly hang on as a top 25-35 point guard for the first year or two of this deal.
