Beat writer Nick Friedell wrote on Saturday that Taj Gibson and Mike Dunleavy “could very likely be moved in the coming weeks as the Bulls continue restructuring.”
The Bulls continue to be one of the more fascinating teams to watch during free agency as they’ve closed the book on the Derrick Rose era and along with Gibson and Dunleavy it is expected that Pau Gasol won’t be around this season. Of course Jimmy Butler has dominated the trade rumor mill over the last few weeks, too. Both Gibson and Dunleavy will garner interest around the league for their respective skill-sets, and the exodus of all these players could put guys like Bobby Portis and Cristiano Felicio in the spotlight this season. Active Dynasty league owners should adopt a wait-and-see approach but be ready to pounce if this turns into a full-blown rebuilding season.
