Trevor Booker has reached an agreement to play for the Nets according to Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune.
Details on the deal are not yet available but Booker is a nice grab for a team that needs bodies and veteran leadership. He’ll be able to give them a solid 25 mpg, maybe more, and he might have some low-end fantasy value at that rate. We’ll have to see how things shake out in Brooklyn at the end of free agency.
Update: The deal is for two years and $18 million which is entirely reasonable. Quality low-end signing by the Nets.
