The Sixers selected Ben Simmons with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.
Simmons has a chance at some real fantasy potential in Philly coming out of college with averages of 2.0 steals, 0.8 blocks and 56 percent shooting. Then you get to the popcorn stats including 19.2 points, 11.9 boards and 4.8 assists and it will be tempting to look at him as an early round asset. He hit just 67 percent of his free throws and he’ll get to the line at a solid rate in the pros, and when one factors in the degradation in numbers hopping to the pros he has an excellent shot at being a mid-round asset with upside beyond that.
