Dwyane Wade scored 16 points on 6-of-13 shooting (including two threes) with four rebounds and three assists in Sunday’s Game 7 loss to the Raptors.
Wade was great in these playoffs and showed he still has something left in the tank for free agency, with obvious caveats about age and mileage. Goran Dragic (16 points, 6-of-17 FGs, six boards, seven assists) gave glimpses and his consistency will be important for the Heat, who need to decide whose team it will be next year if Wade stays. Joe Johnson (13 points, 6-of-9 FGs) got lively but it was too little, too late, and Justise Winslow had a huge game for DFS owners with 14 points, eight boards, two steals and two blocks in the loss. In the end the Heat’s lack of depth was their undoing — just as many folks thought it would be if they suffered a key injury.
