Wesley Johnson and the Clippers have agreed to a three-year, $18 million deal.
The Clippers are clearly no longer in the Kevin Durant sweepstakes — if they were ever in it in the first place — and they’re signing all of their bench guys not named Jamal. Johnson isn’t going to wow anybody with his skill or potential but he is still a good athlete on the wing and those are hard to find. He’ll shoot some threes and hopefully not bog down the offense too much, or make too many mistakes on defense to negate his ability to move in space. This is a nice low-end deal by the Clippers.
