Marcus Thornton officially agreed to a one-year, $1.3 million deal with the Wizards on Saturday.
In our early projections we actually have Thornton playing 20 mpg this season and that’s more of a referendum on Bradley Beal and the Wizards’ lack of depth on the wings. We’re not going to be surprised if he steps into 25-plus minutes after a key injury or two, and we won’t be surprised if he starts putting up flurries of fantasy value. That said, there isn’t a reason to deal with any of that unless you’re in a 30-team league.
