Magic forward Aaron Gordon went through non-contact drills during Friday’s practice.
The Magic are just being cautious with their players through camp. Gordon suffered an ankle injury earlier this week, but it’s not viewed as anything serious. Gordon will be sliding back and forth between the two forward positions. Head coach Frank Vogel has been praising the third-year forward on his ball-handling and playmaking ability over the offseason. Gordon will be given ample opportunity to showcase what he can do this season and should be drafted in the middle rounds of fantasy drafts.
Frank Vogel said Gordon did non-contact drills again today. Ibaka held out with knee soreness (nothing unusual) and Payton still out.
